Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-01
1. What ShelfReport is
ShelfReport (“the Service”) formats and computes reports from data you upload — CSV exports from your own point-of-sale, ecommerce, or inventory systems. The Service is provided for informational purposes only. It does not provide professional, legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice, and its output is not a substitute for your own judgment or for advice from a qualified professional.
2. Your data, your responsibility
Reports are computed entirely from the files you upload. You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and lawfulness of any data you submit. If the data you upload is wrong, incomplete, or stale, the report will be too.
3. No guarantee of accuracy
We make no representation or warranty that reports are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. Figures labelled as estimates are directional. You should verify any number before making purchasing, pricing, staffing, or other business decisions based on it. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
4. Payments
Paid reports are one-time purchases processed by our payment provider. Prices are shown at checkout. Because a paid report is delivered immediately upon purchase, refunds are at our discretion; contact us if something went wrong and we will make it right where reasonable.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to process data you do not have the right to use, to attempt to disrupt or overload the Service, or to reverse engineer it except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim; and (b) we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or the Service.
